DROP DOWN MENUS
Mousercise- Day 2, Step P

Drop Down Menus present multiple choices without cluttering the page.
We also saw them on the Command Bar.  To see the choices you click the
down pointing triangle at the right of the box.

Experiment with answering the questions below.
Select your answer by clicking on the line of your choice
If needed, you may repeat this process to change your selection.

What color are your eyes?

click black triangle . . . Blue Brown Green Hazel

What is your favorite ethnic cuisine?

click black triangle . . . German Chinese Japanese Italian Indian Polish

Choose your favorite dance.

Click the triangle . . . Swing Tango Waltz Fox Trot Rhumba Samba Cha Cha

Sometimes Drop Down menus actually Drop Up.  In Internet Explorer, there is a zoom control menu that does just that.  Zoom is the the projection of the page on your screen.  It will not affect the actual size of the page if printed out.  If a web designer uses print too small for your comfort, you can easily change its size.

Point to the Zoom menu triangle at the bottom right corner of your screen.  It is on the right edge of the Status Toolbar, just above the time on the Taskbar.   See the tool tip to confirm you are in the right place, and then click to see your options.
