Tops & Bottoms
Mousercise- Day 1, Step K- "middling"
|
Notice that while I called
the middle button "Restore Down/ Maximize,"
it simply says "Restore Down" when you point to it.
This button actually toggles between the two operations-
like light switches at home.
When your window is full
screen or maximized,
this button will "middle size" or
"restore down" the window.
When your window is middle
sized, this same button will maximize it.
BEFORE clicking any button you should point,
stabilize your mouse, wait for the "tool tip" if you
need it, and then carefully move just your pointing finger
to make the click.
|
|
Point to the
middle button, and carefully give it a click.
Repeat this process. Note, the button now reads Maximize
before you click it. |
| A middle size window is
movable. You may drag it by its "handle," the
Title Bar.
|
|
Middle size
your window, and then practice dragging it to several new
locations. |
| A middle size
window is also flexible in size. Each of its sided can
expand or contract. |
|
Carefully
hover over the window's edge, till you see the image sizing
tool.

Click on this image and drag in or out to make the window smaller or
larger. |
| Note: A window is
portable and flexible in size only when it is in middle sized. |
